The CORE&trade is the foundation for all the MŌDERAS Modules. The
CORE is an extension of the Kuali Rice product, extending that functionality, providing the key Services that our modules rely on such as;
Kwest™ allows institutions to scour Grants.Gov, GrantsNet, and the University of Illinois IRIS system* simultaneously searching thousands of possible Funding Opportunities. Searches can be saved for later use, be the basis of search agents that run on a routine basis and notify you via email of your results, and profile matching can provide you results that align with your specific profile.
MŌDERAS™ has adopted Kuali Coeus (KC) as it's Pre-Award platform for Proposals and Budgets! KC is an Open Source product developed by the Kuali foundation based on the MIT Coeus Research Administration product that has been in production for over 15 years. InSite™ is the business intelligence platform for Kuali Coeus, which can easily be modified to work with other research administration solutions such as Coeus™ and InfoEd™. If you're a smaller institution, don't be intimidated by Cognos™, Kronos™, Oracle™ or the other behemoths that cost millions to purchase and support. Insite™ is a cost effective way to provide access to your critical data. If you're a larger institution with a current data warehouse, InSite™ can work easily within your infrastructure to enhance your data management and supplement your reporting abilities. MŌDERAS™ will provide IRB and IACUC support for the Kuali Coeus modules slated for release in the third quarter of 2010. We plan to engaged subject matter experts in the fields of human subjects and lab animal studies and feel their guidance will help us provide best of breed KC modules extensions in these areas. In our desire to provide an integrated end to end solution many Future modules are on the horizon. Solutions for Clinical Trials, Certification, Copyrights, Export Control, Invention Disclosure, Licensing, Technology Transfer, Facilities, and Asset Management are some of the planned modules.
