MŌDERAS plans to integrate Kuali Coeus with Banner Financials!

While there is no arguing that Banner is a great product for post-award financial needs, it doesn't meet the needs of pre-award offices.  The post-award users don't understand that while it's a great tool, it's just not capable of meeting your needs and that you would be happy to use it if it did. 

It was "announced" at last years NCURA National meeting that Banner was abandoning their work on a pre-award product which only made the plight of pre-award offices in Banner institutions that much more bleak. Many institutions have been maintaining shadow systems of post-award data from Banner in a system they can manage so they have the data they need when they need it.  Everyone knows that there must be an easier way and that shadow systems aren't the answer.

MŌDERAS is currently working on an interface that will pull Banner Financial data from the Banner Oracle database based on the schedule defined by your institution.  We plan to have this interface ready for release by the end of the year for institutions wishing to shed their shadow systems and adopt KC.  With KC your financial records will be correlated based on the accounts set up in your awards and the data populated automatically!
